Z7885 Eley’s Percussion Cap Tin with Embossed Lid
Description: Scarce example of the early Eley’s percussion cap tin with an embossed brass top. This example still retains a little of the Japanned finish on the sides and the bottom. The tin lid has an embossed brass top which is in excellent shape. It’s a little wavy but the detail is great compared to others I have seen! This tin would hold approximately 200-250 double-waterproof central-fire percussion caps. This tin would make an excellent addition to any English cased Colt set! A hard-to-find accoutrement!
