Z7563 Early Ordnance Department Coat Button
Description: Decent one-piece excavated Ordnance Department coat size button. This example has honest wear on the face. The shank is intact but broken. The face features and eagle facing left, perched on crossed cannons with three cannonballs below. A decent excavated example at this price. The face looks much better in hand! Tice states that these were manufactured between 1812-1821 and Albert has them listed as 1816+.
