Description: Very nice flat one-piece Artillery coat button. Tice states, "The British probably made these during the late 1820’2 or early 1830’s. The face has an eagle perched on a cannon. The word "ARTILLERY” is above, and "REGT” is below. This example is heavily gilted and the stand-up shank is intact.
Backmark: "IMPERIAL / (dot) ORANGE GILT (dot)”
