Z5079 Commemorative Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson Token 1824-1863

Description: Nice token commemorating the life of Lieut. Gen. C.S.A. Thomas Jonathan Jackson. The face depicts the bust of General Jackson with "LIEUT. GEN. C.S.A." above with "1824 / 1863" on the sides. The bottom of the face reads, "THOMAS JONATHAN JACKSON." The reverse of the token reads, "'STONEWALL' CMDR. SHENANDOAH VALLEY, INSTR. VA. MILITARY ACADEMY / GRADUATE WEST POINT / BATTLES - FOUGHT / MEXICAN WAR / BULL RUN, SEVEN DAY'S BATTLE / CHANCELLORSVILLE / ANTIETAM / 'WAR SUM OF ALL EVILS.'" Nice token with some luster and wear to the high spots. There is a scratch on the back.
