Z1139 Excavated Federal 1839 Pattern Waist Belt Plate (Arrow Hooks)
Description: Very nice, excavated US buckle. This one has the mid to late war arrow hooks on the back. The lead solder is almost fully intact. The face of the plate has a dirty patina with a few small freeze cracks. The plate is a little wavy around the edges but is rather flat. The back of the plate does have some period carving on it. This would make a great addition to any buckle collection.
Backmark: NONE
Measures: 58mm x 90mm
Recovered: Unknown
